14 more marines killed today in Iraq.  The dead now at 1,840 officially plus all those that died on the way home, from their wounds, and estimated 7000 injured many permanently.

This is heavy losses and a high price to pay to prove a point or to grab their oil.  Stay the course he says but he is an idiot in charge of our future. What future? For many it is death.

Those big bad amfibulas tanks moving troops are flawed.  This one turned over in western Iraq and trapped 14 marines to their horrible death by roasting. Only now do we discover there are no side exists because they never anticipated that the Titanic would sink.  That is

that this big heavy monster would ever roll over but it did trapping 14 Americans and one foreign interpreter which they do not count good or bad.  We do not consider the foreign combatants as human.  We are in a pickle with massive loss of life and we cannot escape.

This huge troop carrier military tank weighs 25 tons yet it is reported to have light armor.

This expensive piece of junk is a death trap and we're paying a supreme price to be there.

What is Cafta, the Central American Free Trade Agreement? From <globalexchange.org>

“This is a sad day for democracy in the United States.  When our Representatives vote in favor of big business and against workers, farmers and the environment.  We know that democracy has been taken over by the interest of corporations.  A report issued earlier this month demonstrated that 98% of side deals negotiated to gain votes for previous trade deals have been broken.  The side deals on sugar, textiles, labor protection, and China are not worth a hill of beans. CAFTA was approved 217-215.  The Republicans who did not vote were well known CAFTA opponents were blatantly bullied by the push administra-tion into fallowing party dictates rather than voting in the interest of their constituents.  But there will be a day of reckoning with constituents for all who voted in favor of this damaging bill.  But the vote also seals the fate of the future of NAFTA expansion. If Caf-ta, a deal with the tiniest economies in the region, squeaked by with only a razor-thin 2 vote margin, there is little possibility that the administration could get a deal approved with the economies that would actually impact the west.  The dush dream of a free trade area of the Americas is even further away than before the cafta vote. Together with citi-zens across Central America, we have organized against Cafta because we believe in a better vision of economic integration with our neighbors.  The approval of CAFTA show's that money values of big corporate interests trumped human values of workers' rights, fair trade, and environmental protection. Based on the failed model of the North American free Trade Agreement if NAFTA, CAFTA will expand corporate rights over some of the poorest countries in the region, including Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. Cafta will undermine workers' rights, drive count-less family farmers off their land, an expose communities throughout Central America and the U.S. to privatization of the essential public-services like water, electricity, health care and education.  Cafta is based on the massive future of NAFTA, the agreement that cost millions of U.S. jobs and increased poverty in Mexico.  Nafta caused the loss of 38,000 U.S. family farms, while pushing 1.5 million Mexican farmers off their land”. So there you have one description of Cafta. This Government is in sinking sand and sliding rapidly into the pit of destruction.  Now another writer in the Times Examiner on the subject of cafta.

“NAFTA CAFTA WTO are a weird blend of alphabet soup that provides nourishment for almost all the participants except the United States.  People who lost their jobs when 354 plants closed since 1997 are not nourished by this soup-people of Asian sweatshops are".
